Summary

Sometimes a walkway does more than connect spaces—it solves a problem. On this job, the homeowner needed a solid, welcoming path with better water management to prevent soggy spots and redirect runoff away from the house.

The Work

Installed a stepping stone walkway using fond lu lac steppers on an open grade base
Buried sump pump drainage with schedule 40 PVC for reliable outflow
Added underground downspout extensions to keep water away from the foundation
Placed fond lu lac edging for a clean border on the walkway
Installed decorative rock to finish the look and help with drainage

The Outcome

The new walkway gives a sturdy, attractive route through the yard while the drainage upgrades keep water moving where it should. The space feels more organized and stays drier after heavy rain.
